HBSNews.com - Russian Sports Minidter Vitaly Mutko want all doping samples examined again from the 2008 Olympics and 2012 to be isuued due to alleged shortcomings in the analysis process.
"A laboratory expressed a positive test result should be striped of accreditation and all samples tested should be declared invalid," Mutko told Russian news agency Tass on Wednesday.
IOC has reported 55 positive findings on re-testing of stored samples from the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. Russian Olympic Committee said 22 cases involing Russian athletes, including medal.
Russian official said teo the athletes are cleaned when they "B" samples tested negative, contraty to the positive "A" sample.
Mutko said the two cases were enough justification for retesting the entire program would be discarded.
